About the Role
Our publishing company is seeking a talented and creative Novelist to join our team. As a Novelist, you will be responsible for developing and writing engaging stories and characters that captivate our readers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and write original novels that align with our publishing goals and target audience
Research and conceptualize story ideas, settings, and characters
Collaborate with our editorial team to refine and edit manuscripts
Meet deadlines and maintain a consistent writing schedule
Conduct market research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and consumer preferences
Attend book signings, readings, and other promotional events to engage with readers and promote your work
Maintain a strong online presence, including social media and author websites, to engage with fans and promote your work
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience in novel writing and publishing
Strong writing and storytelling skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent research and analytical skills
Ability to take constructive criticism and incorporate feedback into your work
Passion for reading and writing, with a strong knowledge of literary genres and trends
