About the Role
Our game development studio is seeking a skilled and creative Gameplay Designer to join our team. As the Gameplay Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing engaging and immersive gameplay experiences that captivate and entertain our players.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement gameplay features and mechanics that align with game development goals and target audience
Collaborate with our game development team, including artists, programmers, and writers, to ensure cohesive game development
Conduct playtesting and use player feedback to improve and refine gameplay features
Create and maintain gameplay design documentation, including game design documents, level designs, and game mechanics
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to inform gameplay design processes and techniques
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in gameplay design, preferably in the gaming industry
Strong understanding of game design principles and techniques
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Proficiency in gameplay design tools and software, such as Unity or Unreal Engine
Passion for gaming and knowledge of the gaming industry
