About the Role
Our game development studio is seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth deployment, operation, and maintenance of our game development pipeline. You will work closely with our development team to ensure that our software releases are efficient, reliable, and secure.
Develop and maintain our game development pipeline infrastructure
Automate and streamline our software delivery process
Implement and maintain monitoring tools to ensure optimal performance of our systems
Work with our development team to identify and troubleshoot issues related to our software releases
Design and implement disaster recovery plans and procedures
Implement and maintain security protocols to protect our systems from cyber threats
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in DevOps and implement them where applicable
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
At least 3 years of experience in DevOps engineering or a related field
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Bash
Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems
Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
